Understanding the deck: The value of cards and how their importance
The traditional blackjack games use a deck consisting of 52 cards. This means that you get 13 cards and each has its own suit. These suits are separated into 4 symbols as printed on each card.
Sixteen of these cards are valued as 10. These are the four jacks, kings and queens as well as the four 10s. This means that 30.7 percent of the cards can be used to bust with a hand value that is bigger than eleven. This is an integral aspect when you play blackjack online as this is a very big part of the strategy.

10 is the value of the king, Queen and Jack.
The value of the numbers 2 to 10 is dependent upon their numbers so 5 are equal to 5.
The aces can be valued as 1 or 11. It will depend on the player which value the aces will be every time.
