Las Vegas Strip
Las Vegas Strip Blackjack is similar yet very dissimilar from the regular blackjack. Rules change in this game and must be understood first before one starts playing.
Introduction:
Blackjack has been a favorite of card holders for many years. There are lot of variations as to how one plays it though. One of them is Las Vegas Strip Blackjack, played in almost all casinos in Vegas. It is named after Vegas strip where casino business thrives. It gives the player a breather from normal blackjack.
Rules that change the blackjack game:

- Despite the dealers checking for a hand of 21 cards, they prefer sticking to 17.
- When the aces are split, the card received next is valued at 10. It is not counted as blackjack though, it only gets you a total of 21.
- Aces split once while playing a hand can't be split again even if there's a chance for you to split it again.
- You can receive only a single card when you decide to split aces. You are stuck to the hand you played even if you get better cards later on in the game.
- A total of four hands can be played where one can split thrice.
- You can split all cards that hold the value of 10. This means that if you are dealing with a Kingg and a Queen, you have the flexibility of splitting them up.
- The first two cards can be doubled down.
- The double down bet you make should be equal to bet of your hand, in hand.
- When a hand is split, there are no chances of a double down apart from when aces are split. At this point, double down can be done and one card received.
- Buy insurance for your hand before you play it if you find the dealer showing off an ace.
- Any insurance you may have purchased will be lost when you split your hand.
Such rule changes must be understood thoroughly before you start playing Las Vegas Strip Blackjack. If you don't, you will lose. Splitting is a common occurrence in this variant of blackjack.
